Accept where you are, remember where you’ve been, But most importantly, know where you want to be. Don’t cry over the past, it’s gone. Don’t stress about the future, it hasn’t arrived. Live in the present and make it beautiful.
I’m wondering these days what an economy is for. I always assumed that it had a purpose somehow associated with human happiness. But lately I have been wondering if our economy is a machine that is being driven by fools into a future of great misery and suffering.
We’re constantly shocked by footage and images of destruction, death, war, pollution, etc. But, despite everything we’ve done to the world, there’s still a great deal of beauty and life worth saving yet. It is all around us.
There is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shore line, no matter how many times it’s sent away. Life is like the Ocean. It can be calm or still, and rough or rigid, but in the end it’s always beautiful.
